Jim & Glenda Faber

Jim Faber has been part of some amazing things of God. People are on the edge of their seats when he shares what God has and is doing. It’s great to see how God uses him prophetically to speak into people’s lives. Jim received his BA of Science/Pre-Law from Liberty University and graduated from Emmaus Road Ministry School. He left a professional career in soccer to obey the call of God on his life and serve full-time in Comayagua, Honduras, where he has been a missionary for 14 years. That’s where God birthed his ministry, Eternity’s Call. Jim is an ideal speaker to teenagers because he defies the typical stereotype about missionaries and what they are “supposed” to look like and act like. He is young, cool, and full of life, which has helped confirm many young people who felt called to missions.

Jim and his wife, Glenda, established themselves in an effective role in Honduras, initiating and overseeing church plants, city-wide sports events, evangelistic outreaches, the digging of  water wells, and running several small businesses. They also led gang members to get saved and then discipled them into leadership roles in Honduran churches. Because of their faithfulness to the call of God on their lives, the mayor gave them “the key to the city” and even gave them about twenty acres of property. Because of this, they were able to partner with the local government to build and operate an Olympic soccer training facility; the first soccer training facility in all of Honduras, and they were able to use soccer as a tool to share about Jesus with young people.
Glenda had one of the best jobs on the US/Honduran Military Base in Comayagua, as the Assistant/Translator to the US Commander. Glenda also used music to minister around the country, and was the worship leader for their local church.  Nations Training Institute (NTI) worked with Glenda to translate their four-year Bible course into Spanish, for the purpose of training Hispanic Pastors who lack access to Spanish Biblical teaching and resources.

Jim and Glenda, throughout the years, received numerous Youth Group mission teams from the U.S. who serve along side them. They have a heart for young people and recently moved back the states in the DFW area, where they are ready to fulfill the next assignment God has for them.
